Here’s the opportunity to practice your fire suppression, cribbing, multi-option transport skills and the nuances of light search and rescue. Stations and mentors will be available to provide guidance as needed; or, work with your team to practice your skills

Here’s the opportunity to practice your skills in identifying the “3 killers” during an initial triage and then techniques for doing a “head to toe” assessment and first aid in the treatment area. Stations and mentors will be available to provide guidance as needed; or, work with your team to practice your skills

Emergency Communications: Basic
What you need to know to be an effective EMCOMM communicator. Radios, Go-Kits and equipment basics. Integrating with your team/served agency, the importance of ICS and next steps.

Stop The Bleed: Session 1
Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.

Whole Community Resiliency: Session 1
Learn strategies for preparing communities, organizations, non-profits and families for the affects from our greatest natural and man-made risks (earthquakes, fires, drought, and pandemics)

Introduction to FEMA Emergency Support Function #2 – Communications and advanced EMCOMM. Voice and digital, HF operations, interoperability, the roles of the COM-L and COM-T and COMM Unit operations. This class will also be in preparation for the afternoon exercise where we will operate as a “live” COMM Center.
